France is Green

France is green in many ways. The color green so prominent as we drive through the fields, seeing the cypress trees acting as wind breaks. It is such an ancient culture, but now more often dotted with minisplits hanging on these very old buildings to provide air conditioning where non-efficient ductwork is impossible.

But more importantly, is now the reflection of glass in the fields from the roofs covered in PV solar panels. Yes, I am partial to solar as that is my husband's business and we believe strongly in renewables and energy independent. But most importantly, we are seeing France advance significantly in this just in the last year, even more so than in the US. On old buildings and on newer structures.

We also notice more businesses staying open through lunch, some businesses staying open on Sundays, France is changing and evolving, even after centuries.
