French Alps for non-skiers?

Like me, here is the article link:

A pretty fair description, but is missing the beautiful ice-skating rink in Courcheval with the view of the alps. Also the other favorite hotel at Courcheval 1850 - La Lana - which has the Clarins spa, and a wonderful restaurant. Also worth a mention is the Biblos Hotel. Although it is a little bit outside the main town at 1850, a very good restaurant and great views of the slopes.

So hard to remember whether a word is masculine or feminine, and so much more. We English as a first language speakers are quite spoiled with not having to know these things. Not that English is an easy language, but it is more simple than French. But I will continue trying although it will likely take many years before I can even begin to master even a small portion of the language.
